We’ve all had those moments when we make bad decisions because of our ego. We might act rudely toward someone or lash out at a loved one. We might have overconfidence in a financial decision that ends up with us losing a lot of money. When our ego gets in the way, we become defensive and may make poor decisions. It might be when someone insults or belittles us. It might be when we’re just feeling weak.

This question and the others in this series are based on the book “Know Yourself” by Irene Smit and Astrid van der Hulst. Interested in knowing yourself better? Buy the book! And answer along with me.
